Good News: Strands Final 3rd Place PDF Print E-mail

After the presentations we made on RecSys08, We have been choosen as the 3rd place. Its been a very nice experience. Check it out here.

Winner: Gravity working on Movie recommender product.

 

Second: Recoon - Mobile place recommender application.

 

Third: Iletken - Recommendation engine for rapidly emerging contents like news/rss feeds that utilizes social data.

 Congragulations to all finalist. Its been a honor to compete with you. Here are some pictures.

We have been chosen as one of the 5 finalists of “Strands $100,000 Call for Recommender Startups”. The finals will be held at Switzerland. We will be presenting our project at the “ACM Recommender Systems 2008 Conference” in Lausanne, Switzerland on October 23-25. Check the strands blog for more information.
